Also, gotta love this passage from the Apple support note titled MobileMe: How to reset sync data. Someone’s asleep at the wheel over there…
When troubleshooting these situations, resetting sync data on MobileMe may be a good step to take. This clears out all current sync data on MobileMe and replaces it with the data from your computer. For example, you would not want to do this if all your up-to-date information is on MobileMe and not your computer.
“For example”??
Aside from the fact that doesn’t make grammatical sense in that context, it should read more like, “WARNING! Don’t do this unless you’re absolutely cool with wiping out all the up-to-date info you’ve been storing on MobileMe”.
